Fabulous looking and works beautifully!

I just received my Cuisinart microwave yesterday. It arrived in perfect condition, so I didn't have any of the problems another reviewer had. First of all, let me give the exterior measurements since this was a problem for some of the reviewers and gave me pause when I was considering purchasing it: It measures 20 1/4 inches across the front; it stands 12 3/4 inches high; it is 14 3/4 inches deep (it actually takes slightly less space than my previous 1 cubic foot microwave). It is absolutely gorgeous and the shiney stainless steel interior gives me a thrill every time I use it. As with any new appliance, it took some getting used to the new features, but the express buttons that allow one to cook one minute, two minutes, etc, at the push of one button are very useful. One can also push the +30 sec button for an easy half minute use. To cook for 50 sec or 35 sec or some other individualized setting, one must just push the power button once before pushing the number of seconds you want - not at all difficult, but different from my old one. I don't find it noisey as one reviewer did - it is a bit quieter than my previous one. I am quite pleased and, as I said before, I can't hold back a "wow" every time I open the door and see that gorgeous interior! The front is brushed stainless steel and black glass with a shiney chrome handle (great looking). The sides and top appear to be a brushed stainless "look" metal.
I first wrote the above review in June 2007 and it is now August 2008, so I am adding this Post Script:
After more than a year of heavy, daily use (I cook and heat in my microwave dozens of times a day), this microwave still works wonderfully, looks terrific and there is no sign of deterioration or wear to any parts of it. I was surprised to read in one review, that the "chrome" handle is actually plastic - that really surprised me... Gosh, it still looks and feels like chrome to me and is still in perfect condition after LOTS of handling. So, I don't think it needs to be of concern, whatever it is made of. Summing up, I still think it's a nifty microwave and the stainless interior continues to be a "WOW" of a feature!!
Nice Microwave

As many of you know, it's impossible to find a microwave that's NOT made in China. So, I searched high and low for a decent one (after my other one caught on fire). This seemed well-made and it really is. The stainless interior is nice because it doesn't stain and trap odors. Lower wattage than my other microwave, but that's ok. Works nicely. I love This Microwave

This is a great microwave. It is so sleek looking, both inside and out. I have used it everyday. I admit, I have to keep the instruction booklet on my cabinet by it, as I am using it to actually cook my meals. I don't use it just to reheat food. I would recommend this microwave to everyone.
Great looking and nice performance!

I read other reviews before purchase, many of which were luke-warm, but decided to purchase this product anyhow. I am SO glad that I did. This is a solid and well-performing microwave. The stainless steel interior is generous in size and VERY easy to clean. I am not sure why some reviewers thought that there was no "exact time" option. If you don't want to use the simple "press button #1 for 1 minute" option, simply press the "power" button to select the power level you want (each successive press of the button gives you different power level options) then enter the exact time in the keypad. I would actually give this microwave top marks for ease of use.

Bottom line? My family and I really like the performance, style and price of this microwave.
Good microwave, great price!

I am very happy with m new microwave. I wanted one with a stainless steel interior. It's easy to find stainless microwaves that are stainless on the outside, but they are usually painted white on the inside. I have had problems with that type, because the steam eventually makes the paint chip, then the metal starts rusting. A stainless interior should solve that problem.
